Operation
Every year, the Federation sets out its work for the year ahead in a strategic plan that takes account of current factors and issues in vocational education and training and prioritses them into specfic areas of activity which are covered by a Special Interest Group.
Each group is chaired by a member of the FAB Executive Committee and meets quarterly to review developments in the area, take a proactive and strategic lead on issues, and ensure that FAB is represented at appropriate external meetings. The groups also have an important role in identifying the key developments that are to be communicated to the wider FAB membership.
