FAB and JCQ are pleased to announce a joint event with JACQA to discuss the outcome of the Biennial Review 2009. JACQA has undertaken a seven month review which is the first full scale review of the overall qualifications system for young people; this will inform the 2013 Review.
The Biennial Review 2009 and a further review in 2011 will provide a comprehensive review of the overall qualifications system for young people and to consider and recommend, where appropriate, changes to the 14-19 qualifications offer that would enable the needs of learners, employers and higher education institutes to be met. The recommendations from the Biennial Review 2009 and Ministers response will be discussed in an event on 16 June 2010 by JACQA and DCSF.
