Membership
Full membership of the Federation of Awarding Bodies is available to all awarding bodies that are QCA part-A accredited. Associate membership is available to other stakeholders that are keen to work more closely with FAB, and includes awarding bodies that are not QCA part-A accredited.
Benefits of membership include:
- a forum to discuss policy with the regulators and partner organisations where FAB will present the common interests of all vocational awarding bodies members
- opportunity to attend the strategic working group meetings and events
- full access to the FAB website www.awarding.org.uk which is updated regularly
- a weekly email update to notify members of the latest news and information and as a reminder about forthcoming meetings and events
- special email updates to keep members informed about key current issues
- preferential rates for attending FAB’s annual National Conference
networking opportunities - support and guidance on the current issues affecting vocational qualification provision
- eligibility to be on the FAB Executive Committee
- full voting rights at FAB’s annual general meeting (for full members only)
- a reliable and timely source of business information
- FAB membership rates are determined by the number of certificates that an awarding body issues
- advertising jobs on the FAB website (free of charge to full members, discounted fee for associate members)
