Membership
Full membership of the Federation of Awarding Bodies is available to all awarding bodies that are Ofqual recognised. Associate membership is available to other stakeholders that are keen to work more closely with FAB, and includes awarding bodies that are not Ofqual recognised.
Benefits of membership include:
- a forum to discuss policy with the regulators and partner organisations where FAB will represent the common interests of all vocational awarding bodies members
- opportunity to join FAB’s special interest group meetings
- invitations to meetings and events
- full access to the FAB website www.awarding.org.uk which is updated regularly
- a weekly email update to notify members of the latest news and information and as a reminder about forthcoming meetings and events
- special email updates to keep members informed about key current issues
- preferential rates for attending the FAB annual national conference
- networking opportunities
- opportunity to advertise jobs free of charge on the FAB website (for full members only, associate members receive a discount on the full fee)
- support and guidance on the current issues affecting vocational qualification provision
- eligibility to be on the FAB Executive Committee (full members only)
- full voting rights at FAB’s annual general meeting (full members only)
