National Conference: The Reality of Reform
FAB's 2008 National Conference is being held on 14th - 15th October at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
The shape of qualifications reform is starting to become clear. We have employers accredited as awarding organisations, and we are dealing with recently formed Ofqual and a Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency. By the time of the Conference in October the first learners will be studying for the new Diplomas.
Join colleagues at the well established and highly regarded two-day Federation of Awarding Bodies Annual National Conference to find out more about the policy context and the opportunities, and threats, for awarding bodies.
This year in a new departure we will be incorporating an employers’ day into day one of the conference and a colleges’ and providers’ day into day two. This is a real opportunity to explore the implications of qualifications reform with these key partners.
One and two day packages will be available, and we hope that you will be able to stay with us for the conference dinner and its excellent networking opportunities at the end of day one.
In addition to a full programme of high profile key note speakers, delegates will:
• Have the opportunity to debate key topics
• Interact through electronic voting
• Enjoy fantastic networking opportunities
Registration will open in early July. An early bird discount will be available until 1 September 2008 and member's will receive an additional discount.
