The Learning Records Service is an IT enabled, data centric set of services. It offers three key services and applications to enable the sharing of learning information across the education sector:
Learner Register - formerly called the Learner Registration Service
Personal Learning Record - more commonly called the PLR
Learning Provider Register - formerly called UKRLP
The service also offers free guidance and materials for use by all awarding organisations, designed to help navigate and use the service's systems and Secure Portal.
